This event uses one of the most popular bridge formats – a series of matches in which at the start of each round, pairs are drawn to play other pairs who are doing about as well as them.   You can “swiss” it – i.e. rise through the field after an easier than usual series of draws.  (Of course, the opposite can occur as well.)  Scores are converted to Victory points.
