Sadly Felicity Beale passed away peacefully on August 19 after a short struggle with cancer.
Felicity was a long standing member of the VBA, accomplished International representative and Victorian representative.
Felicity was a wonderful person, full of humour, stories, repartee and a fearsome opponent.
Felicity’s Victorian achievements were:
Winner Pennant Teams 1986, 1988 and 1997
Winner Mixed Pairs 1974,76, 1980,89, 1990,91,97, 2009, 2010
Winner Open Pairs 1988, 2001.
ANC Representative Open Teams 1990,91,97,99
ANC Representative Womens Teams, 1976, 77 and 1981
ANC Representative Seniors Teams 2013 and 2016
Her long standing partnership with Diana Smart took them around the world many teams and these achievements will be published on the ABF website, ABF Bulletin and VBA Bulletin shortly.
Our thoughts are with her daughters, Debbie and Jenny, her grandchildren and husband Julian.
