Fostering interest in the game
The VBA is running ‘Bring your Grandkids to Bridge Day on September 25th – which is a Wednesday during the
school holidays.
We would love to see all kids as young as 5 and up to 18 or so – anyone who is school age – to spend the day dipping their toes into the water with bridge. This is a great way to get your Grandkids introduced to the game we all love.
The cost is $20 for 1 child, $35 for 2 and $50 for 3 kids and includes lunch.

For Affiliated Clubs
We would love to see the affiliated clubs adopt the programme and run their own day. Leigh and Bianca Gold have devised a programme which they believe will provide a fun day for all and get some younger faces playing our game. A flyer is here to which you might like to refer when organising your day. There is some funding available from the VBA to facilitate this. By way of example, we are getting Leigh and Bianca to run the day themselves at the VBA clubrooms; our role will be to look after lunch, snacks, etc.
