Vale Frank Kovacs

 Frank Kovacs passed away on 27 December after a long illness.

Frank was involved in the bridge community for over 40 years and was a member of Moonee Valley Bridge Club. Prior to his illness, he played frequently at the VBA as well as in State and National events. A

part from being a great player and partner, he was highly respected for his friendly manner both at and away from table. While confined to his apartment, Frank played extensively on BBO and managed to reach Level 9 before, as he put it, “retiring ” on 23 December. A family service was held for Frank on 31 December.
