More news from the Spring Nationals..

In my earlier piece on the recent results of Victorians at the Spring Nationals in Sydney, there was one important omission … results in the Linda Stern Women’s Teams competition. In this event, VBA Vice-President Jenny Thompson followed up her second place in the Open Pairs by joining regular Victorian partner Eva Caplan in a team with other interstate players, that both topped the qualifying sessions and then resoundingly won the playoff. Moreover, Eva and Jenny were placed first in the pair rankings for the event. Congratulations to both Jenny & Eva on a terrific performance.
