  • Victorians at the Tasmanian Festival of Bridge

    Victorians performed extremely commendably in Launceston over the weekend of 23rd and 24th March in the 2018 TBIB  Australian Swiss Pairs Championship, one of the most prestigious events on the national calendar.

    In a magnificent personal result, the VBA Treasurer, Neil Ewart, combined with the great Canberran player Elizabeth Havas to win the event. Congratulations Neil !  Other excellent Victorian performances came from

    Geoffrey Johnson (3rd), Keith and Charlie Kat (7th) and Denise Newland and Anna St Clair (8th). Rounding out the Top 20 were Pete Hollands/ChristopherLeach (12th), Leigh Gold/Kitty Muntz (17Th) and Sylvia Gluck/Ben Kingham (19th). A great showing by the Victorians and well done to all concerned.
