Serhat Ozenir has just taken out the Australian Swiss Pairs held over the weekend of March 24th/25th. Playing with Guray Sunamak , a compatriot from Turkiye and former Turkish youth international who now lives in Tasmania, Serhat and Guray hit the lead in round 6 of the 11 round event and never relinquished it.
In the Roger Penny Senior Swiss Pairs Neil Ewart playing with Canberran Ian Robinson couldn’t quite retain the trophy from the prior year, being placed 2nd, with Chelliah Arul & Steven White finishing 3rd.
