Kattery Congress postponed
The Kattery Congress scheduled to be held Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 of September has been postponed until November 27th and 28th.

The Kattery Bridge Club will conduct a GNOT heat on Sunday September 5 at the Dendy Park Bridge Club

Pennant Teams
Have you organised your Pennant Team?
This premier 7 week State Event commences on Wednesday 22nd September.
Directors Course
Saturday 4th September at the VBA.
A 1 day Directors Course conducted by Laurie Kelso (Victorian Chief Tournament Director).
An Introduction to Directing.
9.30 am - 5.00 pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
$40 per day.
Affiliated Clubs are invited to send an ABF registered member free of charge.
2010 Grand National Pairs at the VBA
Tuesdays 14, 21 and 28 September 7.30 pm.
Successful pairs from the Club Selection stage will be eligible to compete in the Regional Final held on 14th November.
Successful pairs from the Regional Final will qualify for the National Final to be played in Canberra in January 2011.
Entrants must be under Life Master status as at 1st January 2010.

Learn and Improve
Many affiliated clubs conduct regular classes - for complete beginners and for the improving player.
Supervised classes are offered at many venues - gain confidence before moving on to more challenging sessions.

Selection for Victorian State Teams is through these events.

Womens and Seniors Selection events are held over two weekends enabling players from all over Victoria to participate.

Thea Cowie and Julienne Masters had one especially enjoyable day during Stage II of the Women's Butler. After Round 5 they were the outright leaders - a wonderful birthday for Julienne!
